Kenneth Denning - Leader in Hospitality and Real Estate Ventures
Kenneth Denning has had a long career in the restaurant and nightclub industry, managing and owning various establishments through Denning Enterprises over the past 35 years. His early ventures included the restaurant 36 Luis Street and the club Raz Mattaz in Hartford, Connecticut, both of which were eventually sold. Kenneth Denning went on to open Electric Blue Cafe, which became a significant nightclub in New England, along with other venues like Crystal Blue, Ultraviolet, Abracadabra, and Wings Bar & Grill.
Mr. Denning’s work has focused on creating dining and nightlife experiences, and he has also applied his business skills to real estate, including property development and house flipping. In addition to his ventures he has been awarded patents, including one for a pull-tab oil can design. He has received recognition for his business efforts and support of local police and fire departments.
Outside of business, Mr. Denning has contributed to organizations such as the Connecticut Cancer Foundation, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. He has received various awards for his charitable work, including the Gold Coin Award from Shriners Hospitals for Children. With personal interests in inventions, boats, antiques, and real estate, Mr. Denning remains active in his field while continuing to support his community.
